There’s often a misconception that Positive Parenting is lazy parenting, or
easy, and for parents who don’t want to put in the hard work to set
boundaries and enforce limits. In actuality, this couldn’t be farther from
the truth.

Positive Parenting actually takes an incredible amount of hard work and
patience and pushes families to grow beyond belief. Redirecting Children’s
Behavior helps parents to find the middle ground between too harsh and too
gentle, which is easier said than done, but WELL worth the effort!

This solid ground of firm, yet always kind allows families to stick to
limits and enforce rules, with tools and methods that are rooted in
empathy, compassion, respect and kindness, while keeping family values and
morals strong. Working with our kids in this manner strengthens
relationships, instead of straining them, even amidst the most challenging
situations.
